Why you have to complete the Drivers Ed classes

The driver’s Ed course teaches about the principles of road awareness as well as the safety for the trainee drivers. To admit in this course you have to fulfill some basic criteria. If you are below 18 years old then you have to complete the Driver’s Ed as the part of the graduated licensing of drivers law you will get information about the Drivers Ed classes and its substance, the places where you can complete this course and the steps you have to follow to obtain the driver’s license.

You have to be enrolled in the behind-the-wheel instruction component. Your age must be 14 years on the eve of taking the classroom component of Drivers’ Ed and your age must be 15 years when you complete the segment of this course. However, you will get the course materials prior your written examination of your learner’s permit. You have to enroll your name in your behind-the-wheel driving component of the class on the eve of your apply for your instruction permit. But you cannot start this semester until you get the permit. 

What you will learn:
The drivers Ed classes will be consisted with the following topics:
·         Minnesota road signs and its meaning
·         How you will be a responsible driver and drive safely
·         How you operate a motor vehicle with full safety maintaining traffic law
·         How you will drive in emergency situations, over railroad crossing and through construction zones.
The Classroom and Ed course will be consisted with
·         Minimum 30 hours classroom instruction
·         Minimum 6 hours of behind-the-wheel driving training.

There are several types of Driver’s Ed Courses. You can take the driver’s education at a public or private school, a licensed driver training school or at home through online. If you are home-schooled then drivers Ed classes can be allowable by the driving license authority. However, you must use the classroom materials which are approved by the respective department.
